DELIVERIES

NORMAL PROTOCOL

  1. Residents should NOT make a practice of shipping packages to CityView when they are not here to pick them up.
  2. Delivered packages are normally placed outside each resident's door.
  3. Delivered packages may not remain in the hallway overnight, creating a tripping hazard during a low-light emergency situation.
  4. Packages left at the door can be moved inside a residents door if they plan to be away for a number of days. Notify RRS or Nathan.
  5. Packages left in the hallway for longer than 24-hours may cause the management or staff to enter the unit to perform a wellness check.
  6. These rules and regulations have been established to protect the health, safety, security, comfort, and financial interests of our owners and all other residents. Noncompliance can result in substantial fines and/or other serious consequences.

SPECIAL SITUATIONS

During special situations, (like during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic), package deliveries may only be made to the "front desk".  In such cases, all residents will be notified and the following protocol will be in effect:

  1. All residents will be responsible for checking and picking up their own packages at the front desk on a daily basis.
  2. Residents with mobility issues will be encouraged to ask another trusted resident to pick up their packages for them.  If a trusted resident cannot be identified, the management company will find another solution.
  3. Delivered packages will be allowed to remain at the front desk no longer than 24 hours.
  4. Uncollected packages will be stored at a different location, but CityView shall not be responsible for any damage or loss that may result.
  5. Attempts will be made to contact addressees of uncollected packages to request urgent pickup coordinated with the maintenance staff during the normal work hours.
  6. Packages will not be stored longer than 10 days without successful communication and coordinated pickup.
  7. These rules and regulations have been established to protect the health, safety, security, comfort, and financial interests of our owners and all other residents. Noncompliance can result in fines and/or additional consequences.
